Jealousy is a bitch. To the guy: If you’re the jealous type, you probably get angry real easily if she’s out with her guy friends, am I right? You constantly worry and hope that none of them are going to make a move behind your back. You wonder why exactly she couldn’t just go to the spa with her girlfriends, right? Yeah, jealousy stings. Jealousy for a guy is pretty bad, like an infection in an open wound. Jealousy doesn’t go away, caused by the simple lost of trust in a relationship. Bro, if you’re a little jealous, just keep in mind that trust is the foundation of a relationship. If you start to get jealous often, your relationship will start to crack more and more. Trust her. To the girl: When a guy’s jealous, it’s kind of cute, right? But when a girl’s jealous, World War III’s about to go down. I think jealousy is a lot more common in girls than guys, based off of the simple fact that girls are territorial and protective around other girls. Not that guys aren’t territorial, but I see that look in her eyes when she sees a cute girl walking my way. Girls are like jungle cats, ready to rip the throat out of any girl that decides to get in the way of her and her happiness. They constantly wish their guy only had guy friends, not girl(space)friends that walk around with short skirts and a flirty attitude. But again, a relationship is based off of trust. I think trust is like the air we breathe. If you don’t trust your man, your relationship will suffocate and die slowly, painfully. So trust him. Too often, we take what we have for granted. We put our own desires ahead of the compromise that comes with a relationship. We fight over jealousy, over how he spent too much time with a girl or how she never texts him the way she texts that other guy. Jealousy is a total bitch. It starts fights and ends relationships. So please, if you have a significant other, trust him or her with all you have. Don’t give your significant other a reason to start a fight. Don’t let insignificant quarrels compromise what amazing love you two have.
If I love you then please know I love you for who you are so just be yourself, I’m not looking for the perfect girl or the prettiest because I know we all have our flaws and that’s what makes you special to me. I’ll accept your past, flaws, imperfections, and mistakes because I love you so much and you mean the world to me that I will look past all that. The past is the past so let’s just leave it where it is and create the future we want for our relationship, Let’s both go and make those special memories together that we can look back on and smile, you know?
